Intro:

Hi.

My name is David Sehnalek. I have created this webpage to represent myself in cyberspace. It is not intended to be a blog or a commercial presentation though.

I work as a lawyer, my specialization is International Private Law and European Union Law and I am highly interested in e-commerce as well. In general, I am orientated to private law (civil and commercial).

As life is not only work, I also have some hobbies. I like history, especially times of ancient Greece and Roman Republic. And, what is nice about that is that you can find law everywhere. In those times the very foundations of our recent legal system were laid down. I also like sports, but I am not a big sportsman. However, it is nice to stretch the body from time to time. I also like good wine. I prefer the white one from southern Moravia. Another hobby is traveling. Unfortunately, I have not had much time for this, a favorite hobby of mine, lately.

I am fluent in English, Czech and I know basics of German. My goal is to learn French. I used to speak Russian when I was younger; but unfortunately, I have forgotten almost everything from this language.
